I wonder if this was sympatric in the Pleistocene or early Holocene?
Anyhow, very, very close fight. The Comanche has agility and range on its side, but Titanis has that beak and its powerful kicks. I'd say this depends on if the Comanche can land a good hit the first time the spear is tossed

Actually Comanche historically were dual horse archers and lancers; They never tossed spears to my knowledge.

It’s a close one but the Comanche wins due to greater range and the fact terror birds were better at running fast than turning.
